The Asset Mapping Toolkit is a year-long research project conducted by the Technology for Social Good Research and Design Lab to develop a community-based tool for identifying and amplifying community assets.
Comprising a set of tools to drive community conversation, the Asset Mapping Toolkit is self-paced and designed for community organization leaders in mind. The goals of the toolkit are to identify community assets and build a community strategy that engages with resources through shared language.
The Asset Mapping Toolkit was designed by the Technology for Social Good Lab with the support of several community partners. Every individual involved throughout the design process played a crucial role in how the toolkit was conceptualized to fit the needs of community-based organizations.
